I recently added a new service offering to my business: a website subscription plan. I have been toying with this idea for probably a year now. I did two things to test this out:
- I started offering payment plans
- I added “Monthly Plans” to my menu. This became the second most visited page on my site. It initially led to my website maintenance plans page, but combined with the higher requests for payment plans, I started wondering if people were actually wanting a subscription plan.
So I launched my website subscription plans!
Why would you do a subscription plan rather than a one and done website?
- Steady monthly payment
- Continued support with a plan
- 3 year refresh
