Today’s Lessons in Entrepreneurship brings us Diane Bader, a certified health and wellness coach with FASTer Way to Fat Loss. She is a former teacher with a passion to coach women to being their healthiest self; especially as they age.
She grew up as one of nine children, with a mom and dad who instilled in them the power of nutrition and its importance.
“My parents also made sure all nine of us were active in some kind of sports activity,” Diane said.

What is your main product or service and why are you so passionate about it?
I coach new clients in a 6-week program; pushed out through FASTer Way’s online program as well as FASTer Way’s app. After the clients finish the 6 week program; they can join our membership program. I continue coaching them in this “VIP” experience to amp up results and further their education to achieve their personal goals.
I am passionate about this particular program because it’s not gimmicky or spammy. It builds the clients trust through relationship and as their coach I get to know them and their personal goals.
As a cancer survivor, I’ve seen what good nutritional habits can do for one. I’ve seen a client change the generational ‘curse’ of bad health in their own family as they begin to understand the power and effectiveness of healthy eating.
What is one trait of a successful entrepreneur?
A successful entrepreneur is someone who is a great listener and understanding what a client expects and wants from my program.

What is your morning routine?
- Wake up early & drink warm lemon water; take supplements; make coffee
- Begin with quiet time and prayer

What is a piece of advice you’d give someone new or struggling in business?
It’s a marathon not a sprint. FOR SURE!
Work at it each day and the more you get organized the better you will feel like you are accomplishing things. Have a plan for that organizational part too.
It’s a roller coaster ride, and be sure to stay on, because the long days or the bad days are few and far between when you are doing something you are passionate about.
