What is your main product or service and why are you so passionate about it?
My main product is our 12 week at home program, Curvy in Thirty. I’m SO passionate about this because there is such a need for an at home workout program that actually teaches you healthy lasting habits, everything you need to know about nutrition, and of course proper form while working out! The amount of women’s lives we’ve changed in this program is just amazing. There’s no words that describe that feeling.

What is one trait of a successful entrepreneur?
To me the #1 trait of a successful entrepreneur is having tenacity. Knowing that every day won’t be a good day, but you have to keep pushing forward anyways. We don’t have someone to report to for our hours, we don’t get a “paid sick day” so if we are having an off day and want to lay in bed all day things aren’t moving forward. You have to keep pushing forward and know this journey will be a rollercoaster, but it’s well worth the ride.
What is your favorite free or inexpensive resource that has made the biggest impact on your business and why?
Honestly there’s so many resources around that are free I can’t pinpoint just one. That’s the amazing thing about social media. I can follow these business coaches and learn how to build a business or in Apri’s case learn about websites from her, or fitness from me. There is a lot of resources at our fingertips, you just need to take action.
What is your morning routine?
My morning routine differs every day. For the most part I listen to my body. No matter, what every morning starts with a cup of coffee and a drop of CBD! I prefer to get my movement done early so I’ll take the dogs for a walk, workout, and I HAVE to journal out my thoughts. When I journal I start by writing out how I’m feeling then turn it into more of a to do list for the day by setting my intentions on what needs to get done. And then of course blast some music and make a bomb breakfast!
How are you currently marketing your business?
I’m currently marketing my business by sending people to my amazing converting website made by the one and only April! Of course I post on social media, I just point them towards my website because I know that will convert people for me 🙂
What have you tried in marketing in the past that didn’t work?
In the past I’ve tried to make websites/landing pages on my own and they honestly failed me. It’s easy to make a post on social media and DM people but having a website that broadcasts everything, holds your testimonials, and payments is so much easier. I wasn’t sure how to word things and make a captivating website, people would visit but I never captured info or payments.
What is a piece of advice you’d give someone new or struggling in business?
If you are struggling or new in your business (or both let’s be honest) I highly suggest you reach out to people. Hire a coach, join a program, and start to build your network! I met April because of a business program I joined (that I know the coach in) my network has grown through the connections I met in that program and it’s helped me in my business SO SO much. Sometimes you need someone to bounce ideas off, people to encourage you, and sometimes you just need a service you never thought you’d pay for but the right person comes along and amazing things happen. 🙂
